Or so you used to be
Land of the Pilgrims' pride
I'm glad they'll never see
Babies piled in dumpsters
Abortion on demand
Oh, sweet land of liberty
Your house is on sand
Our children wander aimlessy
Poisned by cocaine
Choosing to indulge their lusts
When God has said, "Abstain"
From sea to shinning sea
Our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
And a need to always pray
We've kept God in our temples
But how callous we have grown
When earth is His footstool
And Heaven is His throne
We've voted in a government
That's rotting to the core
Appointinting Godless judges
Who throw reason out the door
Too soft to place a killer
In a well deserved tomb
But brave enough to kill a baby
Before he leaves the womb
You think God's not angry
That our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
Before His judgement comes?
How are we to face our God
From whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do
But stem this evil tide
If we who are His children
Will humbly turn and pray
Seek His HOLY FACE
and mend our evil way
Then God will hear from heaven
And forgive us of our sins
He'll heal our sickly land
And those who live within

country and have liberty & justice for all????
If this is what I spent 4 1/2 years in Military
Service for - I'm ashamed.

WOW!! So much truth that cannot be denied! THANK YOU for nailing it on the head. I remember a time when I was allowed to pray in public school, something my children and their families will never get to do. I guess the 10 commandments, Bible reading, and prayer in class is in the home school class--and people think it strange I want to teach my children--at least they are taught the TRUE necessaties of life in a SAFE setting free of restristrictions of what can or cannot be taught! I agree, if this is all there is, what ashame. I pray daily me and my family are ready to meet Him on the day He calls me out of this world. I do hope that He allows me to bring as many people that I meet and that will listen into His glorous truth! Thank you dad for making such a profound statement!!! I may have to copy it and put it on myspace--if it is ok with you. Love your #1 daughter
That's fine with me Steph but most of what was said is Judge Roy Moore. I my try to drive out and see if I could meet him, I would like to shake his hand.
